Hot Springs and Eureka Springs, AR

March 2020

We went on a road trip the 3rd week of March 2020.  We left Houston, went to Little Rock, AR, around to Eureka, AR and down to Hot Springs, AR.  We stayed a couple of days at each location and had a fabulous time.

Little Rock has a river walk that was very clean and pretty.  We enjoyed the little shops and a couple of restaurants.  Nooms had great coffee, cinnamon rolls and service.

We went by the Natural Bridge on the way to Eureka.  It is worth seeing.  The also have Huge round rocks that are only formed in AR naturally in that way.  It is very pretty with natural waterfalls everywhere.

Eureka, AR is a small town that looks like a poster.  Full of twisted roads and small shops.  At this point in our journey a lot of things had started to close but I would have spent a fortune if everything would have been open.  We very much enjoyed what we got to see and were able to drive everywhere and play tourist!

In Hot Springs we had our massage scheduled and I was worried it would be cancelled.  The Quawpaw Bath House did not cancel and we got to take a bath in the Spring water.  It gets hotter as you sit in it and you feel amazing when you get out.  We had pick up all of our food but everyone was so polite and all the food was wonderful.  There is a toy store right on Bath House row where I picked up a present for my Grand kids and she was taking orders and delivering to local families whos kids were home.  We did get our Massage at Living Well Day Spa.  We left it up to her.  That was the best Massage both my husband and I had both every had!!!!

All in all what started as a road trip turned into quite an adventure but nothing stopped us and we came home to a different world.
