My First Post

My 1st Cruise on Royal Caribbean

In March of 2015 we went on our first cruise.  I had been wanting this forever and the waiting killed me.  We took the Cozumel, Jamaica, Grand Cayman Cruise on Royal Caribbean with a Balcony.  We were right behind the Captains Quarters so it was very quiet.

I had done ALL my research!!!  We brought just the right amount of clothes, were a member of the meet and greet group and I had every day mapped out.  Well... maybe I shouldn't have had every day mapped out because there is so much to do that you don't know about until you get on the ship  and you definitely need some down time.  7 days of running to the next thing made us pass out and miss a couple of things on day 4.  We did hit all the ports and enjoyed everything.

In Cozomel we shopped and had a taxi for the day take us around the island.  It was inexpensive and he took us to lunch and lots of little places that we would have never got to see.  He got us away from the crowd.

In Grand Cayman we rented a 2 person scooter and again got a way from the crowd and got to see the Island.  This is a beautiful place and I wish we could have gotten to stay longer.

In Jamaica we booked an excursion through Royal Caribbean for a beach party.  Through no fault of anyone's I tripped stepping backwards and fell.  I broke my wrist.  The X-Rayed it on the ship, set it, gave me medicine and it was 100% covered because it was a Royal Caribbean excursion, so I fell at the right time. LOL!  They checked on me by calling the room, delivered food.  I didn't miss a beat, this was my first cruise!  I just moved a little slower.

All in all I have absolutely no complaints and would definitely recommend Royal Caribbean to anyone.  Everyone was pleasant and a joy to be around, Crew and Guests. 🙂

Happy Traveling!
